ध्यान · Dhyāna

Terms of Use

Last updated 13 August 2026

Dhyāna is free to sit with, and free to share by its web address. It is not free to take. Everything you see and hear is original work and remains the property of its authors.

1 · Using the site

You are welcome to visit Dhyāna as often as you like, for as long as you like, for your own personal enjoyment. Send the link to anyone.

There is nothing to sign up for. We do not ask you for an account, a name, or an email address.

2 · What belongs to us

Everything here is original work: the object drawn live on the screen, the bowl synthesized in your browser, the words beside it, and the code that produces all three. It is protected by copyright and is not open source.

A handful of quoted passages come from texts long in the public domain — Kabir, the Gita, the Dhammapada, the Upanishads, Lao Tzu, and the Zen tradition. Those passages belong to everyone. Our selection and presentation of them does not.

3 · What you may not do

Without our written permission, please do not:

If you want to use any part of it, ask. We would rather say yes to a question than find out afterwards.

4 · That the source is readable

A web page has to be sent to your browser in order to run. That is how the web works, and it means the code can be read. It does not mean the code is free to take, and it does not place anything into the public domain.

5 · Sound

Dhyāna makes sound. It is quiet by design and it is off until you turn it on. It is best heard with earphones. Please use your own judgement about volume, and do not use it while driving or doing anything else that needs your attention.

6 · This is not medical care

Dhyāna is an object to sit with. It is not therapy, not treatment, and not a substitute for medical or psychological care. If you are struggling, please speak to someone qualified.

7 · No guarantees

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, work on every device, or be free of faults. We are not liable for any loss arising from its use.

8 · Privacy

Dhyāna asks you for nothing and stores nothing about you. There are no accounts, no cookies set by us, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, as every web host does.

9 · Changes

These terms may change. The current version always lives at this address, with the date at the top.

10 · Getting in touch

Write to founder@iaaa.academy — for permission to use any part of this, or for anything else.
